The idea of Siraj Al-Aqsa team emerged from a group of Syrian university students, who sensed the pain and suffering of their fellow refugees in neighboring countries and touched their wounds, so they worked first to help them with what they could from the simple available resources and sincere human energies, to alleviate their pain and secure their basic needs of food, medicine and shelter.

With the exacerbation of the humanitarian catastrophe, and the increase in the number of internally and externally displaced persons and their distribution along the geographical map, it was necessary for the youth of the team to strengthen and their spirits to increase their determination to do good.

Today, Siraj Al-Aqsa team crowned its charitable work career by establishing an organization bearing its name, based in northern Syria and with a legal license, through which it seeks to frame its humanitarian and charitable work within an institutional framework free of partisan or political affiliation, thus enhancing the confidence of its supporters, and developing its work path Charity according to international standards.
